Carlos Palacios remembers the intimate conversations with Juan Román Riquelme: “He was direct with me”

CARLOS PALACIOS REVEALS CONVERSATIONS WITH JUAN ROMÁN RIQUELME

This Friday, the 23-year-old footballer spoke with the Radio Pauta’s Game Guide programwhere he opened up about the particular conversations he had with one of his idols.

“It was difficult, it was a moment that I personally did not expect at any time either. When everything started to talk and flow, everything for me was surprising and at the same time strange because I had to talk to a person that I admired since I was a child and having him talk to me was strange,” said the former Inter from Porto Alegre.

“He (Juan Román Riquelme) was direct with me, from the first time we talked he told me what his and the club’s intention was and he was very direct to be honest. He told me what Boca was, what Mundo Boca was and there we were talking and then he didn’t show up and he stayed there,” Palacios said.
