River will play against Nacional of Uruguay for the Copa Libertadores this Tuesday, May 7 and Martín Demichelis finalizes the details regarding the team’s preparation to get in tune and continue to be the leader of Group H. The team trained this Sunday in Ezeiza in order to form the best eleven possible.

The probable eleven of River vs. National

Martín Demichelis’ idea is not to touch up too much the style of play and the names that River has been working on. In that sense, Franco Armani would be in goal, on the right side there is the question of whether Andrés Herrera will play or not, and in the middle of the field there are three names that are almost guaranteed and one position that is in doubt.

With all this introduction, one can predict a possible eleven that will stand in this way in the continuity of the Copa Libertadores: Franco Armani Andrés Herrera (if Agustín Sant’Anna or Sebastián Boselli does not arrive), Leandro González Pírez, Paulo Díaz, Enzo Díaz; Rodrigo Villagra, Rodrigo Aliendro, Claudio Echeverri, Nacho Fernández or Esequiel Barco; Pablo Solari and Miguel Borja.

Are there surprises in the eleven?

Of course, based on the fact that Martín Demichelis tried three different teams and they were all a mix in the friendlies against Tigre last Friday at the River Camp, there may be variables not contemplated. They see Manuel Lanzini growing well game by game but he has not yet started since he returned from his injury, and Facundo Colidio always has the doors open to regain the position from the start.
