Milad recognizes two negative evaluations from FIFA for the U20 World Cup in Chile and warns: “This is to motivate regional governments”

Pablo Miladpresident of the ANFP, spoke with Sports DNA from the National Stadium, before the start of the friendly match between Chile and Paraguay.

On this occasion, the boss of Chilean football referred to the Under 20 World Cup that will be played in our country next year. “There are 13 people from FIFA currently in Chile, we are working with them. “There are no defined venues yet, but the fields and training centers have already been evaluated,” he pointed.

Regarding these evaluations that FIFA has made, it recognized that “We didn’t have a very good grade with the training fields nor with the lights. “This is to motivate regional governments to invest in the remodeling and modernization of stadiums, so that this World Cup leaves a legacy for all of Chilean football.”

Along the same lines, he highlighted his relationship with the current government of President Gabriel Boric. “We have a very good relationship, we are working hand in hand and they are informed of all the processes that have been carried out,” he assured.

Pablo Milad and Chile’s participation in the Copa América

Regarding the Copa América 2024, the president of the ANFP mentioned: “We always have to have confidence in our own. Support from start to finish. The Copa América is an important challenge. It is also an opportunity for players who play in Chile, since they can show themselves.”

“Ricardo Gareca is a winning man, he likes to go out and win. “We have a coach with those characteristics and a team that is eager to reach the top,” Milad completed.
