The customers of a store in Bucaramanga, responsible for sharing a sign that said: “He trusts when Bucaramanga becomes champion.”
The reason? They changed the phrase when they saw that the Leopardo team actually won the Colombian Soccer League, which earned them their first star. Now, they modified the sign to the following: “He trusts when Bucaramanga becomes champion of the Libertadores.”
The customers did not imagine this surprise, since they were already ready to request some products from the store, but trustworthy.
Claudia Hernandez was the fan who came up with this idea of motivating the team and its customers with this picturesque phrase in her merchandise store, located between Carrera 26 and Calle 30.
She inherited the passion from her father Reinaldo Hernández, who is a “dying fan” of the Bumangués team.
They say that the family suffered a lot to see the team they loved champion. They never lost hope of watching the Búcaros competing for their first star.
The fans have witnessed countless matches at the Américo Montanini stadium, to give strength to the players with the aim of accumulating titles like this one after 75 years.
“I have gone south, north, east and west. And in that place we experienced very hard moments like relegation,” said.
