It is known that two heads think better than one. But two screens?

At least that is the proposal that ASUS has presented in Chile with the new Zenbook Duo, a laptop that seeks to mark a milestone in productivity, creativity and entertainment thanks to its design with a double touch screen using OLED technology. It is focused on creative professionals, students and users who need different types of use for their technology.

But what’s the point of having two screens? In the case of the Zenbook Duo, it is to be able to transform it into different formats and thus have totally different experiences with a single device, depending on what you want to do. The computer comes with a Bluetooth keyboard with which you can interact with the screens wirelessly and a stylus so you can draw, take notes, or simply use it as a pointer.

The Zenbook Duo 2024 offers two 14-inch ASUS Lumina OLED touch screens, each with 3K resolution (2880 x 1800 pixels) and a fast 120 Hz refresh rate. The second screen expands your workspace and allows you to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.

If you display the screens horizontally, you can divide your computer into two: an upper window that can be a video call and a lower window with a totally different application. Or, you can be watching a video on the top screen, taking notes on the bottom screen and with the Bluetooth keyboard not interrupting the experience.

In turn, if you display them vertically, helped by a support included inside the computer, it is as if you had an extended 19.8-inch monitor, in case you need to work with large documents such as Excel tables, editing of images or videos.

If you’re used to working with an external monitor on your desk, but occasionally need to work elsewhere without access to an external display, you can place your screens horizontally and use the Bluetooth® keyboard in desktop mode.

Now, if you prefer the traditional notebook format with a screen and keyboard, simply place the ErgoSense keyboard on the bottom screen and you can use the Zenbook Duo as you would with any other laptop. Plus, the bottom screen turns off automatically to help you save power and extend battery life.

The Zenbook Duo 2024 is equipped with the latest Intel Core Ultra 9 processor, 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD storage and is now available in the official ASUS online store, Falabella, Paris, Ripley, PCFactory and Mercado Libre, at a suggested launch price of $2,199,990 and includes ASUS Pen and a case that transforms into a tilting stand.

Plus, with the purchase of the Zenbook Duo, you’ll also receive a three-month subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud All Apps, one-on-one, giving you full access to a wide range of Adobe creative tools.
