Three years have passed since it was announced to the joy of many first-person action fans, but since then, we had barely had any news, and what did arrive was not particularly positive. However, Microsoft has just presented in style the first gameplay trailer of Perfect Dark and the new action game starring Joanna Dark It looks spectacular.
The Initiative and Crystal Dynamics They have surprised us at the Xbox Games Showcase 2024 with a gameplay that combines the action and espionage of the old Perfect Dark with certain elements of parkour and mobility that are reminiscent of Mirror’s Edge. Because this time Joanna is more acrobatic than ever, being able to move with great freedom through scenarios that could have multiple paths to reach the objectives.
So far we haven’t seen many weapons but we have seen the protagonist of Perfect Dark use several gadgets with which he immobilizes his enemies, as well as also using various melee attacks and defensive movements to get rid of those who end up getting too close. Apparently we will also have a kind of bullet time, in the style of the latest Splinter Cell, to shoot several enemies in just a few seconds.
