Zacuto Z-Finder and Z-Finder Frame announced for the Canon EOS C400

Zacuto has just announced the Zacuto Z-Finder for the Canon EOS C400, an optical viewfinder with 2.5x magnification, a diopter wheel with a range of -2.5 to 0 for focusing, and a locking cap for use with the articulating mount of the camera monitor. Zacuto is an American company that makes viewfinders and accessories for filmmakers, such as shoulder mounts and camera mounting systems. Zacuto has been able to work behind the scenes with the Canon EOS C400 to develop different accessories, such as the Zacuto Z-Finder and the Zacuto Z-Finder Frame, which attaches the Z-Finder Pro 2.5x to the camera’s LCD monitor.

The Z-Finder for the Canon EOS C400 is an optical viewfinder that offers 2.5x magnification of the LCD monitor, helping filmmakers frame and focus quickly. Its design is specific to the Canon camera and features a diopter wheel with a focusing range of -2.5 to 0. The viewfinder includes an extender for use with farsightedness, which can be used with the included diopters for greater correction. The locking cap allows use of the Z-Finder with the camera’s articulating monitor mount. Finally, the weight of the scope is 3lbs/1.4kg.

On the other hand, the new Zacuto frame for the Canon EOS C400 is compatible with the popular Z-Finder Pro 2.5x. Installed on the camera’s LCD monitor, the frame includes a locking cap and rosette mount. It can also be attached to the camera’s boom arm mount or used in conjunction with the Axis Mini or Axis Micro.
