Xiaomi’s CIVI series is renewed this year, and this time it is the first time that one of the phones is presented outside of China, it is the Xiaomi 14 CIVI. This phone – like the entire series – is focused on its front camera.

The phone’s screen is 6.55-inch AMOLED and offers a resolution of 1.5K, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, HDR10+, a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 3,000 nits of maximum brightness and Dolby Vision certification .
The panel has a 20:9 aspect ratio and comes with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. The display is a floating quad-curved display. That is, it is curved on the sides. It supports Wet Touch technology, which helps prevent ghost touches when the screen is wet.
The phone comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor coupled with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.
Its battery is 4,700 mAh and comes with 67W wired fast charging compatibility. This means it should be fully charged in about 40 minutes.
Cameras
Its cameras are triple. And it comes with a 50-megapixel 1.63 f OmniVision Light Fusion 800 main sensor plus a Leica Summilux lens with optical image stabilization (OIS). The main camera is paired with a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 telephoto and portrait sensor with an f/1.98 aperture and autofocus that offers 2x optical zoom.
The latest sensor is a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with a 120° field of view and an f/2.2 aperture. The front camera is dual, and consists of a 32 MP main sensor with 78° FOV, f/2.0 aperture, 2X close-up portrait, and autofocus.
The second selfie camera is a 32 MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with a 100° ultra-wide angle of view, 4K image quality, f/2.4 aperture and electronic stabilization for video.
The smartphone comes with HyperOS based on Android 14. Other features include dual-band Wi-Fi 6, 5G connectivity, Bluetooth 5.4, AAC/LDAC/LHDC support, NFC, and an infrared sensor. For audio, there is a stereo speaker setup.
If the specifications look familiar, that’s because This phone is a global version of the Xiaomi 14 Pro, which was announced in China last March.
