Ultimately, the spec sheet reinforces previous leaks, such as the inclusion of a 6.7-inch internal display and what appears to be a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy chipset. Additionally, Samsung has equipped the Galaxy Z Flip6 with a 4,000 mAh battery, a decent increase from the combined 3,700 mAh capacity inside the Galaxy Z Flip5. For reference, this year’s Galaxy Z Flip will offer 25W of wired charging via its USB 3.2 Gen 1 port. Unfortunately, it remains to be seen whether the Galaxy Z Flip6 will support Samsung DeX, a feature that its predecessors lack for one reason or another.
On the other hand, previous rumors were correct in that Samsung would install a 50 MP main camera. Given the other details that are also mentioned in this regard, we suspect that Samsung has included the same sensor that it uses inside the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Plus, which has an aperture of f/1.8, 1.0 µm wide pixels and a 1/1.56 inch optical format. However, rumors that the Galaxy Z Flip6 will feature a larger display appear to have been derailed. Instead, the device will arrive on July 10 sporting an unchanged 3.4-inch panel.
