Meteorish has put the TJD T80 on sale, its second portable gaming device launched to date. Announced last year, the device comes globally in two variants with a starting price of $199.

It’s been almost a year since Meteorish announced the TJD T101, one of the strangest Ryzen 7 7840U-based Ryzen 7 7840U. Shortly after, the company announced the smaller TJD T80, which is now available to back on Indiegogo. As its name suggests, the TJD T80 features an 8-inch display instead of the TJD T101’s 10.1-inch equivalent.

According to Meteorish, the IPS display has a performance of 2,048 x 1,536 pixels with 224 PPI, 130% sRGB color space coverage, and a maximum brightness of 500 nits. In addition, the TJD T80 uses a 10,000 mAh battery, an active cooling solution and a pair of speakers that perform at 2 W each. Additionally, Meteorish claims that the portable gaming device also supports Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi 6E connectivity.

That said, it’s unclear which chipsets power the TJD T80. For one thing, Meteorish claims it has included a “next-generation flagship AIoT chip.” Additionally, it lists the CPU and GPU configurations on its Indiegogo campaign page. On the other hand, it hasn’t really revealed what these chipsets are. Meteorish is currently selling the TJD T80 for $199 with 4GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and its variant with less processor. Instead, the device costs $399 with twice the memory and a more powerful chipset.
