The Regulatory Entity modified the name of the units corresponding to gaseous fuel and the functions of each of them. The measure responds to the dynamics of changes that occur in the sector, in order to optimize its operation.

Through the sanction of ENARGAS Resolution 129/2024 (see at the bottom), the body led by the new auditor Carlos Maria Casaresmodified the name of the departments corresponding to Compressed Natural Gas and the functions of each of them

Firstly, it was decided to rename the “Distribution and Vehicular Natural Gas Management” as “Distribution Management”. It was also established to create the “Vehicular Natural Gas Management”.

The measure also redefined the “Audit Area” dependent on the former Distribution and Natural Gas Vehicle Management, as “Area of ​​Audits and Control Systems and Implementation of Information Technologies“, and incorporate it under the orbit of the Vehicular Natural Gas Management

In this sense, the functional dependency of the following areas was modified: (a) “Enabling License Plate Registration Area” and (b) “Administrative Management Control Area”, both dependent on the former Distribution and Vehicular Natural Gas Management, and incorporating them under the orbit of the Vehicular Natural Gas Management.

The Innovation and Standardization Management was also created and the “Standardization and Regulation Area” as “Distribution area”; he “Distribution Coordination Area” as “Innovation Area” and the “Vehicle Natural Gas Coordination Area” as “Vehicular Natural Gas Area”, all of them dependent on the former Distribution and Natural Gas Vehicle Management

Finally and with regard to “Standardization and Management Area“, from now on it will be called “Transportation and Storage Area”.
