Volponi said that “it is a big step forward. The approval of this ordinance allows us to give the Executive an important instrument for work on the streets. We received many complaints from neighbors who were upset by the overwhelming noise caused by free or adulterated exhausts, and in this way an attempt is made to provide a solution to mitigate this problem.”

The ordinance was processed in the commission where it was enriched by all the political blocks of the body. In addition, consultations were made to the Executive that allowed the project to be improved until a standard was achieved that was applicable and reflected a possible solution. In this sense, one of the important points was the decision to seize motorcycles with adulterated exhausts and the obligation of the owners to replace the approved exhausts so that the vehicles return to their factory standard.

Finally, Volponi pointed out that “now the residents of Mar del Plata and Batán will have greater peace of mind, their quality of life will improve, and The harmful effect of noise generated on the environment will be reduced. and in different people and animals. We fervently believe in a city in which we all have a place, where the rights of neighbors are fulfilled and in which we can walk through the streets without worries and enjoying the beauties of Mar del Plata.”
