To reduce costs and make a nod towards sustainability, inventions emerge that can give us a hand with our domestic activities, such as showering. This is how we came to an Indian creation of a handmade hot water tank that generates 3,000 liters of hot water daily without the need to be connected to a gas or electricity network.
The YouTube channel Desi Ideas & Creativity published this invention as a tutorial, which already has more than 350,000 views, and which aims Develop a hot water tank with basic materials available at any hardware store.
This creation works as a ‘low cost’ collector, without electricity and can be installed in the garden at home. Furthermore, performance can be improved if the collector is covered with glass, which favors the greenhouse effect and in this way the water temperature can be increased by an extra 20ºC, according to Ecoinventos.
“Free” hot water
