Fire and police are working on collecting evidence from multiple fires in the areas of Pleasent, West Merrimack, and Middle streets.

MANCHESTER, NH — Manchester fire and police investigators are actively working on an investigation involving multiple fires in a downtown area of Manchester.
Sources confirmed that multiple fires occurred in the area of Middle Street, Pleasant Street and West Merrimack Street in the past 24 hours. Many of the fires were started on porches of multi-unit structures and were extinguished before spreading to other parts of the structure.

Investigators from the Manchester Fire Marshal’s Office and Manchester Police Detectives are actively working on the case.
Investigators ask that anyone who may have seen anything suspicious or have video surveillance footage from Tuesday or Wednesday contact investigators.
