And the event couldn’t be more special, because the first race of this championship will be held at the Jarama Circuit, in Madrid, where they have already been able to ride in a test prior to the start of the season. The Real Madrid goalkeeper, already recovered from his injuries, will have the presence of Roberto Merhi as the team’s main team, which will sport a black design with gold details.

“It has been many weeks of work and it is a very exciting moment because everything is going to be seen on the track. With the talent of our drivers and a lot of enthusiasm from all of TC Racing, we arrived at this first race at Jarama,” said Thibaut Courtois, owner of the team, which has two young promises who have demonstrated their talent in lower categories. First, Gabriel Gomez, He is Brazilian (although he competes under an Italian license) and is already known in the category, because he competed in his first round in this Spanish F4 last 2023. His teammate will be Cristian Cantu, Mexican and with experience with Formula 4, being runner-up in the F4 NACAM (North America, Central America, Caribbean and Northern South America).

“Now we are in countdown. It’s race week, the start of the championship and for this team it will be their debut. That’s why we’re all looking forward to this starting after weeks of training and preparation,” says Merhi a few days before the competition. whose weekend is made up of three rounds. After the two free practice sessions on Friday, a qualifying and a race will be held on Saturday. Sunday, the highlight of the weekend, with another classification and two races. They will race with a Tatuus F4 T-421, with an Abarth 1.4 Turbo 176 HP engine and Hankook tires.
