Oil Minister meets Lebanese Minister of Economy and Trade

Manama, May 14 (BNA): Mohamed bin Mubarak Bin Daina, the Minister of Oil and Environment and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, met Amin Salam, Minister of Economy and Trade in Lebanon, to discuss ways to enhance cooperation in the field of energy .

The meeting came on the sidelines of Salam’s participation in the preparatory meetings of the Economic and Social Council of the Arab League ahead of the Bahrain Summit.

Bin Daina commended the strong Bahraini-Lebanese relations and their developments in all fields especially in sustainable energy, highlighting both countries’ commitment to further develop these relations and increase investment opportunities.

Bin Daina reviewed Bahrain’s efforts in enhancing the national economy through developing the oil and environmental sector, establishing various oil projects and creating initiatives that aim to preserve the environment. He has affirmed Bahrain’s commitment to attracting sustainable projects that aim to achieve positive outcomes.

For his part, Salam praised Bahrain’s development in various energy projects, wishing the kingdom further development and prosperity under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

He has hailed Bahrain’s hosting of the preparatory meeting of the Economic and Social Council of the Arab League on the sidelines of the Arab Summit, which aims to support joint Arab action to enhance Arab solidarity and a prosperous and sustainable future for the Arab countries. Salam expressed his aspirations for the positive results of the Bahrain Summit.
