The 25th anniversary of the U-20 World Championship won by the Spanish Soccer Team. On these silver weddings, Spanish Footballers Association will pay a well-deserved and emotional tribute to the footballers who were members of that team that won the World Cup in Nigeria in 1999. This is the first and, so far, only title for the national team in this category.

To commemorate this feat, the footballers of that historic team will face the next Saturday, June 8 AFE Football Veterans Selection in it Sant Antoni Municipal Football Field (Ibiza). The match will start at 7:00 p.m. pm.

The match is of character beneficial and AFE will make a donation to the Spanish Association KBG Syndromewhich works helping people who suffer from KBG syndrome, weird illness caused by mutations in the ANKRD11 gene, whose protein is found in brain cells, and its families, in order to raise awareness and promote scientific research.

The localities will be distributed among the different football clubs of Ibiza by the Consell Insular d’Eivissa and of the town halls of the island.
