More than 40 educational institutions in the region Freedom They participated in the I Regional Competition of Escorts and General Staff commemorating the renewal of the oath of fidelity to our flag that is celebrated every June 7.

The important activity carried out in the main square of Trujillo was organized by the regional government of La Libertad through the House of Regional Identity and the Education Management.

“To express the greetings of our governor César Acuña, an important objective of the regional government is the comprehensive training of our children and young people, we aspire to mold them not only from a cognitive point of view but also to work on values ​​and civility, which is why We are gathered today,” said the director of La Casa de la Identidad Regional, Nora Benot.

The contest that brought together secondary school students, representatives of 4 provinces of La Libertad, including Trujillo, Sánchez Carrión, Virú and Otuzco, was divided into three categories: Ladies, mixed and boys. Each school was presented with 10 members who showed great emotion and respect for this contest that seeks to revalue and encourage love for our country.

The education manager, Martín Camacho, highlighted the importance of the civic education course being taught again in schools, along these lines he added, “With this participation we demonstrate the love we have for our country, and we also inform that next year We should already have our new regional curriculum in which the civic education course will be included as we had years ago, but also ask for support from the army as they did previously by providing us with pre-military instruction.”

After their outstanding participation, and having fulfilled the various aspects qualified during the parade, the winning schools of the first places by category were the following: Ladies category, Jesús y María school in the district of Laredo, mixed category, Antenor Orrego Espinoza school in Laredo and in the men’s category, the emblematic San Juan de Trujillo school.

The qualifying jury was made up of Fernando Ayquipa Mendoza, senior chief technician of the Peruvian army, Orlando Iparraguirre Navarro, commander of the national police of Peru, third police macro region La Libertad, and Mirko Aguilar Culquitante, Navy technician, port captaincy from Salaverry.
