A woman was arrested in San José, she was carrying ketamine and ecstasy among her belongings

In the last few hours, National Gendarmerie troops arrested a woman who was traveling with more than 17 liters of ketamine and 1,100 MDMA pills hidden in two suitcases. She succeeded to the Sentinel post stationed in the town of San José.

The procedure was carried out in a routine control carried out by Squadron 8 “Alto Uruguay” stationed at kilometer 785 of national route No. 14, in the Paraje Centinela of the missionary city of San José. There they intercepted the movement of a long-distance bus and searched its interior.

That’s how they noticed two large suitcases belonging to a passenger, which had considerable weight. In this way, they subjected that luggage to the control of the fixed scanner and it returned chromatic images that, due to their shape and density, denoted being narcotic.

Given this situation, the officers opened the suitcases and found that they contained 17 liters of ketamine; 785 grams of that granulated drug and 1,100 MDMA pills, which were seized, while the citizen was detained, by order of the Court and the Federal Prosecutor’s Office of Posadas.
