A delegation of investors from Portugal visited Venezuela with the objective of exploring different opportunities in economic and tourism matters that allow them to take advantage of the country’s potential.

This delegation, accompanied by the Portuguese Ambassador to Venezuela, Mary Flores, along with the directors of United Investments Portugal (UIP), and the Minister of Tourism, Ali Padrón, participated in a day that included several meetings and trips to various Economic Zones Specials (ZEE).

According to a press release, the delegation was also received by representatives of the Venezuelan government, including the Vice Minister of International Tourism, Leticia Gómez, and the Vice Minister for Europe of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Coromoto Godoy.

At the meetings, Portuguese investors spoke with Minister Padrón about the potential for business in Venezuela and the incentives that exist for capital from abroad.

In addition, they held a meeting with the Superintendent of Special Economic Zones (SEZ), Johann Álvarez, and the president of the International Investment Center (CIIP), Alex Saab, to discuss the specific incentives offered through these areas of development cooperation. economic of the country.

The delegation traveled to the SEZs of La Guaira, Los Roques and the island of Margarita, where the sole authorities of each of these zones were in charge of receiving them with the Superintendent of Special Economic Zones (ZEE), Johann Álvarez, and the president of the International Investment Center (CIIP), Alex Saab, to discuss the specific incentives offered through these areas of cooperation for the economic development of the country.
