Tragic explosion followed by fire at the Inmaculada Concepción rehabilitation farm in the San José parish left one woman dead and at least one other injured, this afternoon in González Catán.
It happened in Conde and Lavalleja, in the La Salle neighborhood of González Catán, in the La Matanza district. There is also a dining room where residents of the area would come.
For reasons that are known, the manipulation of a jug could have been the cause of an explosion that ended the life of a 25-year-old girl in the kitchen of the dining room of the women’s rehabilitation farm. Likewise, official sources report another female with burns.
The property is located in front of the La Salle school, from where they confirmed that the explosion did not affect the facilities or the students.
Dr. Claudio Fornaro, in charge of the Homicide Prosecutor’s Office of the La Matanza judicial department, is present at the scene.
