The one in Salliqueló is 51% built and is expected to come into operation on August 30. Finally, to the plant Mercedes 42% of the construction process remains and they plan to launch it by September 30th.
To refute the accusations of the previous Government regarding the supposed slowdown in the works that caused the gas lack crisis at the end of May, Enarsa published a detail on the status of the financing of the projects as of December 20 and the degree of progress of each construction site.

The details of payment for the works
According to what they indicated, the Treatyén work was 49% paid for that date and had an average total progress of 38%: 62% civil works, 28% mechanical, 18% electrical and 26% of instrumentation.
The Salliqueló plant had payments issued for only 22% of the total and the construction progress was 19% by December 20: 27% civil works, 18% mechanical, 10% electrical and 0% in instrumentation.

TheTrayén compressor plant is in a state of progress of 80.5%.
Meanwhile, the Mercedes plant had 58% financing and 51% construction: 62% civil works, 50% mechanical, 38% electrical and 10% instrumentation, that is, a delay of eight months in relative to the original announced date.
The compressor plants will allow an extra injection of gas for about 10 million cubic meters per day which, as happened with the 11 MMm3/d of the first section of the GPNK, would be used to replace liquid fuels for electricity generation.
