Day Vásquez, ex-wife of Nicolás Petro Burgos, returned to court to be accused of, apparently, having paid a large sum of money in order to have access to personal information of Laura Ojeda’s best friend and discover an infidelity.

The hearing against Vásquez took place as part of the complaint that Genesis Olave filed against him as a result of the revelations that have been made in the investigation of the Petro Burgos case. Apparently, she turned out to be a victim of violation of her personal data due to a scheme that Dayssuris promoted to access Ojeda’s information.

The Prosecutor’s Office accused Vásquez of having paid 20 million pesos to hire an investigator, apparently attached to the CTI, to hack Ojeda’s cell phone, in order to obtain private conversations that she was having with Nicolás Petro, her then partner. .

In the midst of these events, which were revealed by prosecutor Mario Burgos within the investigation for alleged illicit enrichment against the president’s son and his ex-partner, Olave’s cell phone would also have been hacked.

“He obtained through a third party and for his benefit, the data from my WhatsApp phone book contained on my cell phone to carry out an analysis. link, ordered the creation of a profile based on my social networks and obtained various information that rested on my mobile device,” says the complaint, cited by Week.

Olave and his lawyer requested that the hearing be held in a reserved manner because he maintained that he is not a public person and has been exposed as a result of the case being pursued against Vásquez Castro.

I am not a public person, it has touched me through the process I have experienced, but I would prefer that the hearing be done in a reserved manner. I do not agree with the way some media handle the information that comes out of an audience. I thank the prosecutor for supporting this request because it is very uncomfortable for me,” said Génesis Leal.

Due to these events, in terms of the follow-up that would have been carried out against Ojeda, Vásquez faces another criminal process before the Prosecutor’s Office. She would have betrayed herself by handing over the data on the alleged irregular acts of Petro Burgos that she kept on his cell phone.

In the middle of the hearing, a strong clash of positions occurred between the alleged victim and prosecutor Burgos, who may reach the judicial courts. The fight broke out because Olave complained during the procedure about apparent delays in the process, which caused the rejection of the representative of the accusing body.

“At the end of the procedure, Mr. Prosecutor Mario Andrés Burgos Patiño announced that he will file a complaint against me for the crime of false reporting, but that he will continue to investigate this process until he determines to file it,” said Olave García through a statement he issued later. of the audience.

Vásquez’s alleged victim stated that she felt intimidated by the attitude of prosecutor Burgos against her. “With the previous announcement, I feel re-victimized and intimidated, because the last thing that is expected from the development of a procedure like this is for the Prosecutor who must guarantee my rights, to announce that he wants to make me an accused in a criminal matter,” she said.

Due to this situation, Olave suggested that a change of prosecutor in the case could be requested. “The attitude assumed by the Prosecutor at the end of the procedure denotes a lack of objectivity as a representative of the prosecuting entity, therefore, being absolutely clear that he is going to denounce me-which means that in his mental sphere I am his counterpart – he does not separate himself from the knowledge of these events,” said the alleged victim.

The woman also questioned prosecutor Burgos, pointing out that during the hearing he stated that there is a connection between the violation of personal data of Ojeda and Olave. “The above denotes that both events should never have been separated,” the defense claimed.
