The long-awaited second part of the story of Betty and Don Armando Mendoza will soon arrive on TV
“Ugly Betty” is back with a new season, which has generated great enthusiasm among its followers. After more than twenty years since its original premiere, fans of Beatriz Pinzón Solano, played by Ana María Orozco, are eager to discover what new adventures await this endearing character.
And to get “warmed up” for its premiere, this June 13, Prime Video published the trailer for the second part of this Colombian soap opera that has thousands of fans around the world.
In this new season, Betty is in a more mature stage of her life, facing new professional and personal challenges, including her separation from Don Armando Mendonza and the death of her father-in-law.
After the death and the reading of her will, everything indicates that Betty will have to return to the presidency of Ecomoda, while facing her difficult separation from her daughter’s father.
As if this were not enough, Betty also faces the fact that her husband is considered one of the most coveted bachelors and everything indicates that there is a new woman behind him, but Betty is not far behind because apparently a new beau arrives at her life.
The return of the original cast has generated a wave of nostalgia. Ana María Orozco will once again play Betty, while Jorge Enrique Abello will reprise his role as the charismatic Armando Mendoza.
Other characters beloved by fans, such as Nicolás Mora (played by Mario Duarte), will also be back. We cannot forget Natalia Ramírez as Marcela Valencia, Lorna Paz as Patricia Fernández or the actresses who are part of the Cuartel de las feas.
