Kate Middleton will reappear in public during the parade for Charles III’s birthday

The Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, will attend tomorrow, Saturday, with her family the ceremony celebrating the birthday of King Charles III, the “Trooping the Colour”, in which it will be her first official appearance in public since last March he announced that he suffers from cancer.

Kate herself, wife of the heir to the British Crown, Prince William, revealed her reappearance in a written message released by Kensington Palace – her official residence – along with a recent photo, in which she said that she will be accompanied in the parade military for her husband and three children, George, Charlotte and Louis.

Furthermore, the Princess of Wales explains that, although her chemotherapy treatment will continue for the next few months, she hopes to be able to be present at some more public activities this summer.

“I am looking forward to attending the King’s Birthday parade this weekend with my family and hope to join a few public engagements over the summer, but knowing that I am not out of the woods yet,” he writes.

Kate Middleton releases a statement addressing the issue of her illness

After declaring herself impressed by the number of messages of support she has received, the princess says she is making “good progress,” but remembers that, as all patients undergoing chemotherapy know, “there are good days and bad days.”

“My treatment continues and will continue for a few more months. On days when I feel well enough, it is a joy to get involved in school life, spend personal time with the things that give me energy and positivity, as well as start doing some work from home,” he adds.

Kate Middleton also dedicates a space to reflect on her illness and how it is leading her to “learn to be patient, especially with uncertainty,” as well as to listen to her body and allow herself the time necessary to heal.

The princess will ride in a float at Trooping the Color with her three children, while her husband will ride on horseback.

It is expected that, if his condition allows it, he will go out to greet the rest of the royal family on the balcony of Buckingham Palace.
