Seiko Astron GPS Solaire Starry Sky, a beautifully useful watch

In 2012, Seiko managed to create the first watch connected directly to GPS. Today, the brand japanese watchmaker throw the Seiko Astron GPS Solaire Starry Sky in two versions, inspired by the night sky. These two new watches feature blue dials with star motifs and infinite brilliance, offering a high level of comfort and legibility thanks to a sapphire crystal domed with “Super clear” anti-reflective coating.

The first model includes advanced features such as GPS time and time zone adjustment, a chronograph, a perpetual calendar and an accuracy of plus or minus 15 seconds per month without a GPS signal. This watch has a titanium case and bracelet for greater robustness, a ceramic bezel and water resistance up to 10 bars (100 meters). The SSH157 model can adjust to 38 time zones, even depending on where you are, it automatically adjusts to daylight saving time.

Seiko’s other model, the SSJO27, has fewer complications and is simpler. However, it has the same GPS function and, like its brother, recharges autonomously using solar energy. Its perpetual calendar is scheduled until February 2100, so you can rest easy for a while. For models like the Seiko Astron GPS Solaire Starry Sky It’s just that we are fans of the Japanese brand.
