Two women from Venado Tuerto lost their lives in a traffic accident that occurred on Saturday afternoon on National Route 14 a few kilometers from the town of Alvear, in the province of Corrientes.
According to data provided by fire personnel, It was a head-on collision between a Gold Trend, in which the victims were traveling, and a Ford Ranger truck with four occupants who were taken to the nearest hospital.
According to regional media, the road was closed for long hours due to the work that the experts had to carry out and the damage suffered by both vehicles.
It was a road accident that took place on the national artery near the Pirayú area, in Alvear at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
“In the vicinity of School No. 236, a new road accident occurred, leaving two people dead so far,” Filmaciones Anly reported on its Facebook page.
In this sense, the authorities announced to the regional media that the two deceased people were from Venado Tuerto, although one of them had been born in the city of Pergamino. They are Auil S., 37 years old, and Dotta G., 30.
Alvear Corrientes Firefighters, health personnel from Alvear and Torrent Station, National Gendarmerie and Corrientes Provincial Police worked at the scene.
