He assured that they are defining the functions that the former president of the Central Bank will have in the government.

President Javier Milei supported the Minister of Economy Luis Caputo and maintained: “No one is going to touch his ass, and if someone does, I will cut their hand” and added that “he is the best minister of Economy of history.”

In this framework, the president confirmed the entry into the cabinet of the former president of the Federico Sturzenegger Central Bank: “The idea is that he enters the cabinet, we are defining the functions. He is one of the most brilliant economists on the planet.”

The President defined as “cruel” the versions that circulated about the possible departure of Sandra Pettovello from the Ministry of Human Capital. “They are not going to touch any minister,” he stated.

Likewise, he highlighted the work carried out by the minister: “If you start from the base that our initial indicators were worse than those of 2001, you would have to have the country on fire if you did not drive well. What Pettovello did was get the middlemen out of the way. They believed that he was going to get the money from these criminals and they were going to stay calm.”

“The problem is that we are eliminating jobs and those who manage the jobs feel affected. The Province of Buenos Aires sets the tone to torpedo the National Government. I was not going to let go of Pettovello’s hand,” he concluded in dialogue with TN.
