On the night of Monday, June 17, 2024, a fake erotic video of Jacob Elordi began to circulate on X (Twitter) and has been viewed more than three million times. The clip is the result of editing footage stolen from Only Fans with the Australian actor’s face inserted over the face of the video’s real protagonist, who was 17 years old when he recorded it.
Jacob Elordi has not given any statement in this regard, nor have those responsible for managing the content of X. For his part, the user @mentallyillgusas the owner of the erotic material on Only Fans, published a tweet to say what he thinks about the situation: “literally that’s my video, the deep fake is getting weird.”

Unfortunately, the ‘Saltburn’ star has not been the only celebrity who has suffered from the extreme freedom of creating fake videos that many users take advantage of to make unauthorized erotic content. The most recent case is that of Taylor Swift, who had to face the circulation of explicit photos of her created with Artificial Intelligence and therefore filed a lawsuit against the author of the images.
We do not know if Jacob Elordi will follow the example of the author of The Tortured Poets Department, but what is a fact is that his fans have organized a digital movement to demand that they lower their idol’s inappropriate content, and also ask for support from platform X to resolve this case and prevent other public figures from being victims of this type of situation in the future.
