This Thursday, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band renewed their love affair with the city of Barcelona and once again conquered the Estadi Olímpic in the first of two performances – the second will be on Saturday – with a new three-hour concert and 32 songs without rest in front of 58,000 people.
Just over a year after their previous visit to the same venue, also with two concerts in May 2023, the communion between group and audience has been total since the band’s appearance, the cry of “Hello Barcelona! “How is this?” and the first notes of Lonesome Day.

Clad in jeans and a white shirt with a vest and black tie, the boss has served as the perfect master of ceremonies while songs like My love will not let you down, Cover me, Radio Nowhere —first song in which saxophonist Jake Clemons has taken center stage— and a celebrated Don’t surrender.
With metronome Max Weinberg on drums and the guitars of Steve Van Zandt and Nils Lofgren at the helm, the E Street Band has once again proven to be a perfectly oiled machine that could link songs infinitely.

After this Thursday’s concert, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band will offer a second performance on Saturday in Barcelona, for which tickets are also sold out, and which will end the five-concert tour in Spain, after the three held in Madrid.
