It was a Magic night. Bright. Of those that leave a mark and they are impossible to forget. This Sunday there is more than 55,000 people without voice because of Tow. And the Muñoz brothers did not disappoint in their great date with the capital of our country.
He Metropolitan Stadium He dressed in his best clothes to receive the ‘Tour 25 years’ of the group. With the same ones that he wore a few days ago to welcome the Boss, the great Bruce Springsteen. Because Estopa’s 25 years are worth it. And in spades. In fact, it was the artists themselves who used their great sense of humor to allude to the American: “We have showered in the same place as Bruce Springsteen…”
It was 10:09 p.m. on a hot night – one of those typical in Madrid, the sticky ones, the ones that make you feel summer in all its magnitude – when the Muñoz brothers made their stellar appearance on stage. A verse and a few chords were enough to make the entire audience explode to the sound of ‘Tu Calorro’, the opening song of this tour. The fuse had just been lit and it was going to be impossible to extinguish it in the more than 2 hours and 40 minutes that the concert lasted.

The most famous brothers in Spain surfed from song to song with astonishing agility. Worthy of one of the best groups in the history of our country and signing a fascinating start to the concert.
Then, David and Jose made a rjourney through its origins and the evolution experienced in all these years of musical career. From those beginnings in the Sala Caracol, passing through La Riviera, the Palacio de los Deportes, converted into the current WiZink Center… until filling stadiums like the Metropolitano with unusual ease. A journey, by the way, that, around midnight, was represented in images through an emotional video of about 2 minutes in length in which he reviewed his 25-year career and which delighted all attendees.
The night was full of unforgettable details. From the Seat Panda that they took to the stage, and about which they sang, to the constants winks to Madrid: “We feel like Madrid people. Madrid is our second neighborhood and we couldn’t love you more”. But, without a doubt, between the moments of general ecstasy we must highlight the moment in which they played ‘For the Slit in Your Skirt’. Moments in which the Atlético de Madrid stadium came to vibrate like on the best nights of the mattress club. Finally, put the finishing touch to a dream day with ‘Like Shrimp’. And so, being true to themselves, as they have always been, they concluded a concert that will remain engraved in our retinas forever.
