In a head-on collision between a truck and a car, which occurred minutes before noon this Sunday on Route 205, an entire family from Coronel Suárez died.
The accident occurred at the intersection of National Route Nº205 and Av. Sanguinetti in the city of Salladillo.
According to various regional media reports, for reasons that are the subject of investigation, a Mercedes Benz truck transporting pigs, driven by a man from Urdampilleta, who was traveling in the Bolívar Saladillo direction, collided head-on with a Honda CRV car, which was traveling in the opposite direction. from Capital Federal to Coronel Suárez.
As a result of the strong impact, Diego Villafane, 61, and his son Eduardo, 11, died instantly. Giselle Segonds, 43 years old, who was traveling on the passenger side, was taken seriously injured to the Posadas Hospital in the city of Saladillo where she finally died in the late hours of this afternoon.
The driver of the truck belonging to the firm Oeste Arenoso SRL of Bolívar is Julio César Álvarez, a native of Urdampilleta and he was unharmed.
