In an opinion article published on the morning of this Tuesday, June 25, in The New York Times, Hillary Clintonformer United States presidential candidate, criticized the idea of debating former President Donald Trump, calling it a “waste of time.”
The former Secretary of State had to face Trump in three debates during the presidential campaign, in which she claims that the businessman constantly interrupted her using lies and insults.
“It’s a waste of time (…) it’s almost impossible to identify what his arguments are, because he starts with nonsense and then rambles on with trivialities,” Clinton said.
In addition criticized the way Trump avoids giving direct answers on issues such as abortion, tax breaks for billionaires, and the influence of big oil companies in politics in exchange for campaign donations.
However, Clinton mentions that President Biden can deal with the situation, being direct and forceful, as he has been in previous speeches against Republican opponents.
Highlights that Biden has the facts and truth on his sideand is confident that his approach can counter any comments from the former Republican president.

Current President Joe Biden and opposition candidate Donald Trump will face two debates ahead of the November 5, 2024 election.
The first meeting will take place on June 27 at the CNN studiosin Atlanta, Georgia, at 6:00 pm (Pacific time) and can be followed through the television channels.
