For him Professor Arturo Méndez del Río, The education profession is one of the greatest challenges we have, considering that there are different needs that exist not only in the classrooms but also outside the schools.

This June 26th marks the commemoration of Teacher’s Day and in this sense, the teacher considered that there are great challenges to address in education, but despite this, those who dedicate themselves to this work do so with great enthusiasm, dedication and dedication for the future of Mexico, creating not only professionals but good people with human values.

“I am 16 years old in the group, I have 16 years of active service and all these years have been in primary school, the biggest challenges we have and not only now but since I started the profession because it is basically the support of parents family, since the time given in the classroom is not enough to cover everything that comes in our study plans and programs, sometimes some homework is left behind, unfortunately sometimes, some, I am not going to generalize but there are parents who do not contribute to it, either in material or activities that have to be carried out within the school”, he commented.

The work he does, he considered, is essential for build the foundations of a good societybut without the support of parents, he assured that little progress can be made in this regard, given that the push is not only done from the classrooms but from the home.

In his opinion, another of the needs that is lacking in education is the allocation of more resources for schools, so that public institutions can be in better conditions, so that students enjoy coming to receive education.

“Some perhaps very basic needs would be that schools are equipped with most of the materials, certainly in a public school and the government is supposed to provide eight percent of income for education and well, the truth is very few. States are in that range, most in the range of five or six percent, some up to four percent of income for education and that has an impact on parents.”

So despite all those shortcomings that you explained, urged parents to participate in the education of students, every time he considered starting the education of each of the children from home.

“I think that the profession of teacher is basic for any society, we are in charge of creating those future engineers, architects, doctors, endless professions, or trades, because on many occasions they decide to be mechanics, welders, but in the end “They have to know mathematics, so certainly the teacher has a great responsibility and commitment to encourage students to develop their abilities.”
