Sabiniano Gómez, father of Begoña Gómezwife of the President of the Government, died this Wednesday, sources from the Executive have informed EFE.
No trip to Valencia
After that session, Sánchez planned to travel to Valencia to participate in the I Mediterranean Economic and Social Forum. An initiative promoted by the Prensa Ibérica publishing group and the ‘La Caixa’ Foundation that brings together governments, companies and civil society to promote the economic and social development of the Mediterranean.
However, government sources have reported that the head of the Executive will not attend this forum and cancels his agenda for this day due to personal motivesalthough no further details have been offered.

He also canceled the trip he was going to make on Tuesday afternoon to Barcelona for the 377th edition of the Pimes Awards organised by the Catalan employers’ association Pimec.
In principle, Sánchez plans to travel this Thursday to Brussels to participate in the meeting of the European Council that must ratify the agreement for the appointment of the people who will head the community institutions.
