This was recommended by the Secretary of Political Representation of the provincial Government, Federico Giménez, regarding the call to the RASE that will be held today in Río Grande, tomorrow in Tolhuin and on Friday in Ushuaia. In this way, advice will be provided to register for the Energy Subsidies Access Registry to those who have not done so yet. In Río Grande the event will take place today, Wednesday, June 26, at Fagnano N° 1345 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Río Grande.- The Secretary of Political Representation of the provincial Government, Federico Giménez announced new days to register for the gas and electricity subsidy in Río Grande, Tolhuin and Ushuaia, where advice will be provided to register for the Registry of Access to Subsidies to the Energy (RASE).

In Río Grande, the event took place yesterday, Wednesday, June 26, at the Political Representation Office, located at Fagnano Street No. 1345; in Tolhuin, the activity will take place today, Thursday, June 27, at the Government Delegation, located at Santiago Rupatini Street No. 285 and (Federico Velázquez 2964 56-0984) and in Ushuaia, the event is scheduled for this Friday, June 28, at the Territorial Promotion Office, located in the 60 Viviendas Tira 1 Casa 2 neighborhood.

“We are launching a new stage, a new operation that we are developing to also support the city, which is registration for RASE, the National Energy Subsidy. It is starting today (yesterday) in Fagnano No. 1345 at the Secretariat of Political Representation from 3 to 6 p.m.,” reported the provincial official.

In that sense, he added that “we, when we see our bill for both electricity and gas, there are different types of levels of subsidies. If I see on the gas bill that it says N1, which is the unsubsidized rate, so to speak, for high incomes, for families whose combined family income exceeds 3,300,000, and for electricity as well, that This is what is reflected on the electricity bill and appears as level 1, and on the gas bill N1.”

He added that “in N2, which is low income, it is for families that do not exceed 770,000 pesos, and N3 is medium income for families that are between 770,000 pesos and 2,200,000 pesos.”

She explained that to know if a family is within the segmentation or not, “clearly with these values, if one registers the electricity or gas bill that says N1 and that amount is not paid into my home, as salary, it is very likely that I have never registered for the RASE subsidy. Or, my family’s economic situation may have completely changed since last year when I registered until today, so they can also be recategorized.”

He explained that “there are families that are in N3, that today due to a labor issue cannot work, so the income is not the same, they can go down to N2, which is the lowest income. And apart from this – which is also very important to say -, there are two more rates, one of which is the differential rate, which are for non-profit, non-governmental institutions, such as foundations, popular libraries, civil associations, sports clubs, such as retirement centers, for example, can also enter at a subsidized rate. And apart from that, there is a social rate, which is the lowest, which is for retirees and pensioners – the minimum – and for families that are members there is a person with a single disability certificate, which is also possible to pay at that rate. social”.

Suspension of gas rate increases

Asked about the recent ruling by Federal Judge Mariel Borruto that upheld the collective protection presented by Governor Gustavo Melella, the interviewee recalled that “at least the increase in rates is indiscriminate and was done by the national government to the gas. Based on that, the Governor has faced a collective protection, with all the members of society, an protection that the federal justice has ruled on twice, first he has resolved to avoid cuts due to lack of payments in these indiscriminate rates in these latest bills. that came with the increase because many cannot pay it; and, on this occasion, the Federal Judge has decided to proceed with the protection and roll back the rates for three months. She still has not resolved the bottom measure, which is the protection, but at least we have a suspension of the indiscriminate increase in rates that Governor Gustavo Melella has led.

Finally, Federico Giménez recommended that residents go to the RASE operation, “to bring their identity document and the gas and electricity bill physically or virtually, because the forms are completed through registration numbers that are inside ballots”.
