The mayor Julio Alak led a meeting with the vice president of the Electrical Energy Control Agency of the province of Buenos Aires (OCEBA), Roberto Daoudto develop an information and advice campaign that allows residents of The Silver keep your subsidies of light and gas.

The measure arose in response to the new provision of the national government that establishes that those who have subsidies in the services promoted during the launch of the benefit – such as retirees, pensioners, people with disabilities and ex-combatants – must register manually to maintain them.

“It is very important that you complete the process and register to keep the subsidy”Alak remarked. While he pointed out that “From the Municipality we are working to call all affected sectors so that they are aware of this situation and help them resolve their doubts and register in the communal delegations”.

In this context, Commune agents schedule meetings with those affected, which are around 18,000 families in the city, while providing assistance in the different party delegations, facilitating and guiding the registration process.

For his part, Daoud emphasized that “These 18,000 houses that could be left without subsidies in 30 days first have to have information” and added: “We are talking about vulnerable sectors, people who need to be close to the State, and the idea is that they can have the possibility of registering and continue having the benefit that corresponds to them.”
