Two men aged 27 and 38 have been seriously injured in a traffic accident in Manzanares, when a van overturned on the A-43 motorway, in which at least nine people were travelling, according to information provided by the 112 Emergency Service.
The rest of the occupants, seven, have suffered minor injuries in the accident, which occurred around half past six in the morning, at kilometer 41 of the highway, heading towards Valencia.
All of the injured are men and workers who had left Almagro to go to their job, sources from the Civil Guard have reported. Three of the slightly injured have been evacuated to the Virgen de Altagracia Hospital in Manzanares and the other four slightly injured, aged 28, 32 and 33, to the General Hospital of Ciudad Real.
The most seriously injured were taken to intensive care (the 38-year-old) and the 27-year-old by medical helicopter. The accident occurred hours before the start of the first major operation of the summer, which begins this Friday at three in the afternoon.
