The new season of ‘Bridgerton’ is approaching and things will change drastically in this Netflix adaptation of Julia Quinn’s work. Are you excited to see it?
Since 2020 Bridgerton It has become audiences’ favorite period series.perhaps even more so than other streaming titles like The Gilded Age either The Buccaneers. The Netflix production has only released two seasons, but it has almost completed four years of keeping viewers on the edge of their seats to find out the best gossip and secret romances of London high society from a few centuries ago.
The Julia Quinn story produced by Shonda Rhimes, the same mind behind Grey’s Anatomy, became one of the most popular titles on the platform and its third season is about to premiere. It took almost two years of waiting for the new chapters to come to streaming, but If you are a reader of the books then you will find very different things for this new stage of the series.
While the first season of Bridgerton focused on the story of Daphne (Phoebe Dynevor) and the second told us the romance between Anthony (Jonathan Bailey) and Kate (Simone Ashley), The third installment of this production will now focus on the life of Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton), however, this series decision does not follow the same chronology as the books.
During the first and second seasons the same events that Quinn wrote about in his work were followed, but if the creators and scriptwriters had followed this outline, the third season would have shown Benedict’s story (Luke Thompson). Although the third book focuses on him, fans of the series will have to wait longer to see him lead an installment of this production; Meanwhile, the loving and enigmatic path of the woman behind Lady Whistledown will continue.
After watching the trailer and the images shared by Netflix you can see that Benedict will spend time with Lady Tilley Arnold (Hannah New), who does not appear in the books but perhaps will help develop the Bridgerton brother’s story and prepare it for a fourth installment. Bridgerton will return to streaming with the premiere of the first part of season 3 on May 16, while the second part will be available from June 13.
