Netflix films “Trapped” in Pilar his new audiovisual production starring Soledad Villamil who is accompanied by a great cast. The streaming production company filmed the final stage of the new thriller this Tuesday at the Ginko restaurant located in the town of Manuel Alberti.

The miniseries of six 45-minute episodes began on March 18 in Bariloche and took place in different parts of the city with stunning natural settings in Argentine Patagonia. Filming ends precisely in Buenos Aires, with Pilar being one of the chosen locations. Its premiere is scheduled for 2025.

The fiction begins in the city of Bariloche with the journalist Ema Garay, played by Soledad Villamil, who wins the projection award in digital journalism by catching criminals who usually evade Justice. Her life takes an unexpected turn when she meets Leo Mercer, a social figure who ends up being the main suspect in her investigation into the disappearance of a 16-year-old girl. While trying to get to the truth, Ema will be forced to confront herself.

The direction of the thriller is by Miguel Cohan, director of “The Same Blood”, “Sin Return”, “Betibú” and “El Reino” and Hernán Goldfrid, director of “El Jardín de Bronze” and “Tesis de un Homicide”. .

The production is by Vanessa Ragone of Haddock Films responsible for “Elena Sabo” and “El secreto de sus ojos”.

Coben continues to work with local screenwriters from around the world to bring her novels to the screen, so far in 4 languages.
