Ramiro Simón is a director and screenwriter, and carries the flag of the bill to protect victims of psychopathic abuse and narcissistic personalities

Ramiro Simón was born in Villa Ortuzar, city of Buenos Aires, 44 years ago. He is a director, screenwriter, writer. He also works as an administrator in the educational area. He dedicated an afternoon to watching eight half-hour episodes of the series baby reindeerof Netflix, a dramatic adaptation to the harassment suffered by Richard Gadd, who experienced a disturbing follow-up by a fan after a performance of his. Gadd stars in a fiction that portrays her own trance due to harassment and that addresses corrosive aspects such as sexual identity, psychological trauma and abuse.

There was a time when Ramiro stopped watching productions that challenge him. He says that he does him wrong, that he repulses him. He invests that time in spreading the bill to protect victims of psychopathic abuse and narcissistic personalities, of which he is co-author, and in containing those who have gone through the same drama as him. He made an exception. He interpreted that the success of the series could catapult his own cause, revive it, propagate it. He had written a book where he laid bare the degradation of him. His name is Surviving a psychopath. It is assumed to be a preyed being.

In it he talks about his relationship with Noel. In the series of Netflix, Donny Dunn (Gadd’s character) is a quietly talented comedian from Scotland. Martha Scott (played by Jessica Gunning) meets him in a pub. He is alone and hopeless. She falls in love and becomes obsessed. She pursues him: she sends him 41,071 emails, 350 hours of voice messages, 744 tweets, 46 messages, 106 pages of letters and creates four fake Facebook profiles. “In the desire to generate something commercial, is far from what the interaction between an integrated psychopath and a victim is like.“, concludes Ramiro, on the program floor Nobody says anythingwhich is issued by Luzu.

He tells his story because, he says, he wants it to never happen to anyone again. “I was separated nine months ago from my daughter’s mother. She was 33 years old. He worked in the National Congress with Pino Solanas: he filmed and edited many of his films. One night I went out to a bowling alley with a friend, who introduced me to a girl he didn’t know either. ‘This is Noel’, he told me”. That day his life took an unexpected and dramatic turn.

She asked him what he did for a living. He was about to sell a script to the United States and had already won an award for a short film. She told him that she wrote songs for Diego Torres and other artists. “When you think you are meeting the love of your life, they are actually preparing what they are going to do to you in the future. They do something called almagemelization: they copy all your tastes so that you feel empathy“, defines Ramiro. He is a believer and she told him that she had worked with Mother Teresa of Calcutta. She prayed all the time. She took him to meet a person in a slum to whom she had paid for the plumbing in her house. “It was like being with an angel,” he illustrates. They were all gadgets.

“They are a chameleon, they take the shape they need,” he says of psychopaths, who to emotionally subdue their prey do meticulous research and study work. The first stage is that of falling in love: “They listen to you, they bring you gifts, they are super attentive. They want to know what is happening to you, what you feel, what your fears are, what your dreams are.”

It’s like a game of chess -says Ramiro- in which they are always one step ahead. “They build like a network of simultaneous stories. They are like military machines: they are constantly planning what they are going to do,” he describes. He got caught in that trap. Sex is a resource of capture and manipulation. Noel had a plan to absorb it: “He tells me ‘someone important on television wants to come back with a new series, we would like you to be the one to write the script.'” He only had a month and a half to do it, so I told him ‘there’s no way, it’s too little time, I’m going to make you look bad.’ And he tells me ‘no, it has to be you!’”

Convinced him. Every day, after working at the congress, she would go to her house to write the script for a made-up series. “He started drugging me, but I realized that later. I couldn’t get out of bed, I saw everything in slow motion. I felt strange. Since she had recently made me a vegetarian, she told me that was why,” he said. Noel was the link with the producers of the new television release. He kept him excited, proactive. He named people he knew. He recreated a framework of suitability, legitimacy, and normality. “They have a way of lying that you can’t imagine because you don’t have such a perverse mind. It is like The Simulators“, says.

The tattoo that Ramiro Simón chooses not to cover. He said that she forced him to do it and he shares other tattoos with her ex-partner, such as a heart on the corner finger of his left hand.

The plan included the second plot of a fallacy to have him coerced. “She tells me that her ex-husband, a career military man, was harassing her and wanted to kill her. She even appeared in the media, on television, and convinced a judge who gave her an anti-panic button. She starts to drive me crazy and He tells me that he wanted to kill us all, me and my daughter.”. She could no longer see her daughter because Noel mistreated her behind her back and the mother of her youngest daughter did not let her see him. Two and a half months into the relationship, she already had control of his social networks and her cell phone: she had already isolated him from her surroundings.

Seeing her daughter meant danger for her. She accepted that her best option was to resign from those meetings. The risk to her physical integrity increased on weekends, during the leisure time of her current girlfriend’s ex-husband. “Every weekend we went to a different hotel to hide. That is where it began to empty me: I had a small production company and I had to sell cameras, lights, microphones, even my car. And all to escape from a supposed soldier who wanted to kill me. My family made me food and brought it home to me. I no longer had contact with anyone. It cleaned me little by little. And I believed everything,” she narrates.

It wasn’t love he felt, but he couldn’t separate himself. “It creates an addiction more powerful than cocaine. It’s something chemical. The psychopath, since he keeps you in constant stress, makes you secrete a lot of cortisol that will deteriorate your brain: you begin to lose short-term memory, get lost and that helps the other person dominate you. For example: you leave the car key, she grabs it and hides it. They manipulate reality so that you feel like you are going crazy.”. The second stage of the plan had already passed: the devaluation of the being. “First it takes you up there with falling in love, then it takes you down there taking away everything you have. In the end, one day he treats you well, the next day he treats you badly. “It drives you crazy.”

“Surviving a psychopath”, the book written by Ramiro Simón

The script project was definitively undone. The priority was survival. In a new phase of isolation, she told him that a lawyer recommended that they go live far away so they could be killed. Ramiro shaved his head, bought glasses, He changed his appearance and altered his identity to escape from something he thought was real.. They went to the house of a relative of hers in Chilecito, La Rioja. During that coexistence, she invented two new deceptions: she threw herself on the floor, she acted convulsed, she told him that she was sick with cancer and that it was, indirectly, her fault because the disease was activated after her ex-husband persecuted her when he found out that she was dating. with the; and she planted the idea in his head that he should take a DNA test because her daughter was actually from another father.

Ramiro believed everything. He saved money to pay for a genetic analysis that he never did. It was her resource – the victim suggests – for him to get money, given that every time he was close to paying it, extraordinary expenses appeared to cover. “She hit me, she did everything to me, one time she stabbed me with a knife. Afterwards she would start convulsing and say ‘how are you going to leave a woman with cancer,’” she remembers. Her friends organized a search operation but they did not know where she was because she had left no trace of her whereabouts.

From Chilecito they moved to the capital of Córdoba. “I started cleaning cars and eating out of the garbage.. Everything he got from her he gave to her. I ended up curled up in a ball, my ribs were visible, It was skin and bones.“, account. Ramiro had become depersonalized. He had lost his identity and his will. He had stopped feeling sorry every time she convulsed. He had stopped caring about life: “I was dead inside: I had lost my family, my daughter. He no longer wanted to live and he played at being run over.”. “Psychopaths only enjoy causing pain in others. It is his pleasure,” says Ramiro. He stopped supplying his quota of pleasure when the pain was indifferent to him. Noel had consumed all of his life drive.

“I saw things in slow motion, I had memory loss, I thought I was sick, I wasn’t mentally skilled. She manipulated me like a puppet and never let me sleep,” says Ramiro Simón, in the photo with Giannina Perea, advisor. in deputies

“He got bored. Therefore, integrated psychopaths generally have several victims. When I was no longer useful to him, when he saw that he could no longer get anything from me, he told me to go back to Buenos Aires,” she says. Ramiro returned to his house. His mother and his brother received him: “They couldn’t believe the state he was in.” The situation did not diminish immediately. He continued sending her money. He had already lost his car. He had already exploited his family. Little by little, without her suffocation or influence, he began to wake up. Alerts went off. What finally woke him up was seeing the series that he was about to market to the American market and that he had delivered a month before meeting her, turned into a movie, sold to more than twenty countries, with the same script that he had written. “That was when I fell,” he remembers. I disappeared from the world for five years and suddenly I saw the series that I had written launched on the platforms”.

She simultaneously warned that she had been separated from her daughter. One night, smoking on the balcony of her house, she realized she had not realized the uncertain direction her life had taken. “I started investigating, gathering evidence, chatting on WhatsApp with my friends. I spoke with the soldier who wanted to kill me. The psychopath had not been him, but her. She had done the same thing to him as to me. “She almost lost her job and couldn’t see his son again,” she reconstructs.

The ordeal lasted five years. The criminal complaint against Noel lies in the courts of justice. He knows that she has five more victims and that she subsists by scamming her. He does not know if she still lives in Córdoba or if she moved to Miami. He appreciates that the bill of which he is a co-author gains supporters in institutional bodies. He prefers, for now, to keep the tattoos she lobbied to get. On the left forearm, in cursive letters, he preserves the phrase “Noel Endless Love”: “Noel, endless love.”
