On June 8, “Connection” continued its perfect six-episode streak by gaining more and more viewers with each new episode. According to Nielsen Korea, the thriller drama’s latest broadcast earned a nationwide average rating of 9.4 percent, marking a new personal high for the show.

“Missing Crown Prince” also began the last two weeks of its broadcast with an all-time high, reaching a national average rating of 4.4 percent in its last episode.

“Bitter Sweet Hell” on MBC , which airs in the same time slot as “Connection,” earned a nationwide average rating of 5.1 percent overnight.

JTBC’s “The Atypical Family,” which has only one episode left to air, earned a national average rating of 3.8 percent heading into its series finale.

Meanwhile, “The Midnight Romance in Hagwon” on tvN began the second half of its broadcast with a national average of 3.2 percent.

Finally, “Beauty and Mr. Romantic” on KBS 2TV defended its title as Saturday’s most-watched program with a nationwide average rating of 16.0 percent.
