The great mystery of Doctor Who season 1 had its first appearance on the 60th anniversary and you didn’t realize it

This first season of Doctor Who again with Russell T Davies at the controls is being very interesting. Beyond the exciting, fun and emotional adventures starring the Fifteenth Doctor (Ncuti Gatwa) and Ruby Sunday (Millie Gibson), there are several mysteries throughout the season that have us very intrigued.

Among all of them, the most persistent is that of the mysterious woman who appears in each and every one of the episodes of this new season 1 of the series, which assumes a different role in each episode under the interpretation of actress Susan Twist. As the Doctor already told us at the end of the episode The devil’s chord“there’s always a ‘Twist’ at the end.”

However, we had already seen Susan Twist previously in the series, specifically in one of the special 60th anniversary episodes starring David Tennant.

Who is the mysterious woman Doctor Who played by Susan Twist?

The new season 1 of Doctor Who officially started with the Christmas special Ruby Road Church. There we could see Susan Twist playing a woman in the audience who is listening to the group she is in play. Ruby. But then we don’t notice anything.

In space babies The actress can be seen briefly through the ship’s communicator, but she also goes unnoticed. Likewise, we overlooked her participation in The devil’s chord playing one of the waitresses in the studio cafeteria.

It’s not until Boom when Susan Twist has much more screen presence as the face of Ambulance. It is at this point that the actress’s appearances become increasingly evident to the point that the Doctor and Ruby also begin to notice her.

If you’ve seen the latest episodes of the series repeatedly, you’ve probably already noticed. Otherwise, we will tell you that you had already seen Susan Twist previously in one of the 60th anniversary specials of Doctor Who.

At the beginning of the episode The wild blue distance we see a funny gag with the Fourteenth Doctor (David Tennant) and Donna Noble (Catherine Tate) meeting Isaac Newton and leading to the discovery of “mavity.”

But right at the start of the chapter We can see Newton talking with his maid, who is none other than Susan Twist herself.. You can see a screenshot of the moment below.
