Barış Kılıç (‘Original Sin’) and Damla Sönmez land in Nova with ‘War of the Roses’

A story full of love, revenge and passion

‘Guerra de Rosas’ is an exciting soap opera that narrates the intense and conflictive life of Gülru (Damla Sönmez), a young woman who has grown up in a mansion where her father works as a gardener. An admirer of the lady of the house, Gülfem (Canan Ergüder), Gülru dreams of becoming a fashion designer. However, her life takes a dramatic turn when Ömer (Barış Kılıç), a doctor who has returned from working abroad and Gülfem’s former lover, shows interest in her. This unleashes a series of events where the struggle for power and control of the mansion becomes the main axis, unleashing ambitions, betrayals and a fierce battle between Gülru and Gülfem.

In the midst of this conflict, Gülru decides to marry Cihan, Gülfem’s brother, who suffers from a disability caused by an accident during her childhood, when Gülfem, as a girl, suffocated him with a pillow out of jealousy. Cihan lives isolated from the world, finding Gülru his main support. The marriage to Cihan becomes part of Gülru’s strategy to gain control of the mansion, adding more tension and complexity to the plot.
