The fiction, based on the ‘bestseller’ Máxima Zorreguieta: Motherland, by Marcia Luyten, discover the life of the current Dutch queen before becoming part of the House of Orange. From her early years in Argentina and New York, to the beginning of her romance and her engagement to King William Alexander. And the young Argentine found herself in the spotlight when she appeared next to the Dutch crown prince until she asked her to marry him.
Delfina Chaves is in charge of getting under the skin of Maximum and the Dutchman Martijn Lakemeier plays King William Alexander. Sebastian Koch, Elsie de Brauw, Daniel Freire, Valeria Alonso, Iván Lapadula, Paula Gala, Sébastien Corona and Cecilia Cereijido-Bloche, among others, complete the cast.
