Following the airing of the final episode, the production of a second season for the anime adaptation of the manga “WIND BREAKER“. According to the statement, this sequel has its premiere scheduled for sometime in 2025 in Japan.
For its part, Satoru Nii The publication of the manga began through the digital service Magazine Pocket from the publisher Kodansha in January 2021, and the work achieved ninth position in the list “Manga That We Want To See Animated” of the AnimeJapan 2022. Previously, the author already published the manga “Danshi Badminton-bu ni Joshi ga Magireteru: Secret Badminton Club” between January 2016 and August 2017.

- Toshifumi Akai (Darling in the Franxx, Magi: The labyrinth of magic, Kokoro Connect) is in charge of directing the anime at the studios CloverWorks.
- Hiroshi Seko (Shingeki no Kyojin, Jujutsu Kaisen, Mob Psycho 100) is in charge of writing and supervising the scripts.
- Taishi Kawakami (Darling in the Franxx, Akebi-chan no Sailor Fuku, Fate/Grand Order: Shuukyoku Tokuiten – Kani Jikan Shinden Solomon) is in charge of character design and animation direction.
- Ryou Takahashi (World Dai Star, Argonavis AXIA, HIGH CARD, RWBY: Hyousetsu Teikoku) is in charge of composing the soundtrack.
Synopsis of Wind Breaker
An adrenaline-filled manga set in a high school for delinquents who are now heroes protecting their city. A fierce new student arrives at the school determined to fight his way to the top and become the strongest of them all. Fans of Tokyo Revengers and other stories about high school delinquents will enjoy this action-packed manga.
