These are intense days for fans of the live action of One Piece. We recently met from the hand of Brashaad Mayweather, the actor who played Patty in the series, which Netflix could be planning the second and third season simultaneously. There is no official confirmation on this information, but they have been announced some of the new faces that we will see in the next adventures of Luffy and company.
The new cast members announced first were Daniel Lasker, Jazzara Jaslyn, Camrus Johnson and David Dastmalchian, who will play several of the agents of Baroque Works, a criminal organization that will cross the path of the Straw Hats along the Arabasta arch, The next thing that should adapt the live action version if we take into account the manga by Eiichiro Oda.
This Thursday we learned about more additions who will play several characters of special relevance in the plot of One Piece. On the one hand, we have Callum Kerr (Monarch) and Julia Rehwald (Panic) as Captain Smoker and his assistant Tashigi. They both belong to the Navy and appear for the first time in the city of Loguetown, the next stop on our journey.
There is also very little left to meet Chopper, the medical reindeer that lives in the drum island Next to the Dr. Kureha, that many fans want to be interpreted by Jamie Lee Curtis, and herself too. It has not yet been confirmed who will take on the two roles, but we do know that Rob Colletti (criminal saints) and Ty Keogh (24 hours to live) will accompany them in the winter kingdom as the tyrant Wapol and the noble knight Dalton, respectively.
The fans of live action They hope the second season includes the entire Arabasta arch, although in the manga and anime it had a lot of extension. At the moment we know how far they will go at least thanks to the most recent additions. But before everything the saga of the East Blue remains to be concluded, since the Straw Hats will have to visit the city of Loguetown before entering the Grand Line.
Immediately afterwards it should arrive, if Netflix is faithful to the manga, the Reverse Mountain and the story of Laboon. Afterwards, the people of Whiskey Peak, where we first meet Vivi and some members of Baroque Works. Finally, Luffy and his friends will have to go through Little Garden and drum island before reaching the kingdom of Alabasta. We will have to wait until 2025 to find out if One Piece will it include the entire saga in the second season or will it have to leave something for the third.
