Ramallah-. The Israeli army today intensified its bombings against various areas of the Gaza Strip, where numerous deaths and injuries are reported, most of them women and children.
At least six people were killed and an unknown number were injured as a result of airstrikes against a gathering of citizens in the Sheikh Radwan market in Gaza City.
The official Wafa news agency reported that civil defense teams recovered two bodies and transported several wounded after the destruction of a house in the Al-Shujaiya neighborhood, in the same city. According to the source, at least nine people remain missing.
The aircraft also bombed a pharmaceutical factory east of the city of Deir al-Balah, in the center of the Strip.
For the seventh consecutive day, the Nuseirat refugee camp, in the center of the coastal enclave, is under fire from the Israeli Armed Forces, amid reports of an imminent offensive against the site.
In this regard, Wafa highlighted that Israeli excavators and tanks advanced in the vicinity of the power plant, located north of the town, where they destroyed most of the towers and residential complexes.
In the south of the Strip, seven bodies were recovered after a missile hit a house in the Yabna refugee camp.
The aircraft attacked several areas of the city of Rafah, the southernmost city of the territory, and where more than 1.4 million Palestinians take refuge.
According to official data, since the beginning of the war campaign at least 33,843 Palestinians have died and 76,575 more have been injured in the Strip, although the number is higher because the whereabouts of thousands of citizens, presumably buried under the rubble, are unknown.
