Several British Army horses escaped during routine exercises this Wednesday, and sowed panic in the center of London: aAt least four people were injured and several cars were damaged.
According to local media, the episode took place at 8:25 in the morning. The emergency services were alerted because a person had fallen from a horse near the Buckingham Palace, an area where the stables of several army regiments are located. From there, the raid began to catch the horses that fled.
In the images released you can see two of the animals, one white and one black, galloping at high speed down an avenue. As they passed, they overtook a motorcycle and collided with a taxi while passing a red light. One of the horses had its front end covered in what looked like blood or red paint.
“I looked in the rearview mirror and saw them coming right behind me. At the time I had two customers behind me, so I was worried about them,” a taxi driver named Robbie told the BBC. “Fortunately they kept going, but they were going fast,” he added.

After several minutes of panic, The two animals were detained in Limehouse, about 6 km east of central London, reported the police.
