– The app is free to download and users can register 24/7.

– To ensure greater efficiency, starting Monday, March 4, 2024, non-citizens in central and northern Mexico can request CBP One appointments between 12 p.m. and 11:59 p.m., every day.

Appointment request steps: CBP One

To request an appointment at CBP One, you will need to register and include all family members or travel companions who share a common destination in the US.

At 12 pm the next day, appointments will be assigned to a group of registered users who requested an appointment the previous day.

If you receive an appointment, you will be notified around 12 pm via the CBP One app and email. You have up to 23 hours to confirm the appointment by completing a geolocation verification to ensure that you are within central or northern Mexico and completing the photo submission process.

In the event that you are not selected for a 12 pm appointment, you will be able to request a new appointment during the 12 hour period from 12 pm to 11:59 pm, each day, to be considered for the following day.
